WE CHALLENGE ALL Contractors, Builders, Flippers, etc. to INCLUDE such 'progress photos' of their builds to ANY potential Buyers. In fact, always ASK for such photos when looking at a renovated home.
We'll turn that frown upside down. This original 'Keith-built' bungalow was destroyed over DECADES of neglect. It was WORTH a complete re-build.

Over 60 sq. ft. upstairs luxury bath
6' Kohler soaker tub. Towel Warmer (by 'Warmly Yours'), heated floor, dual sinks and new transom window. ALL partition walls within this home have been insulated for sound-proofing.
Solid wood 36" shaker-style doors.
Heavy solid wood doors, over-sized on ball-bearing hinges. AND we widened the hallway to 4'. EASY to get around in this new home.
Full wet bar with fridge.
Downstairs in the Media Room. A great home to entertain in and for family.

Demo was EXTENSIVE!
BIG plans. 4 bedrooms to 3 LARGE bedrooms (2 are over 20' long). 2.5 baths to 2 beautiful bathrooms. Living room, kitchen and dining area are ALL now Open Concept. What a great space for entertaining, or for family gatherings.
Nothing is safe...
... we even kicked the old furnace to the curb! Just imagine ONLY 30 cents of every $1 YOU pay for gas went to heat such a poorly insulated home VS. NEW energy-efficient furnaces putting over 90 cents of every $1 in heat into your (this) NEW, super-insulated home with NEW windows!
Added a NEW sub-floor upstairs.
NOW the upstairs sub-flooring is OVER 1" thick. Over 30 large tubes of PL adhesive and 3500 screws. This is one STRONG home!
We truly started with a clean slate.
Now this is OPEN CONCEPT! So, a few walls cometh.
Put your trust in trusses.
Our Engineer LOVED the trusses in this home and signed on with a few repairs into making half of this top floor 'Open Concept!'

HUGE master bedroom and bathroom with 6' soaker tub and heated floor. Open concept: living, dining and kitchen area. Hallway shortened yet widened to 4'. 36" solid doors everywhere. Nice and spacious all 'round.

NEW: plumbing right up to the sewer line (which we had scoped and was in perfect condition), electrical, walls moved or removed, insulation. etc.
Electrical 100% NEW!
NEW: main panel (and sub-panel in garage), Arc-fault breakers (to Code now and expensive). NO short-cuts taken... EVER.

2 other property flips in this crescent, and guess what? With a visual inspection at one property, and just asking the 'Flipper' of the other, BOTH properties were using the WRONG pot-lights in their flips. We at fifer.info take PLENTY of photos for our Clients so they can see 'behind the scenes' of our renovations. We CHALLENGE ALL Builders to do the same.

Strength and Honor
(Gladiator... I couldn't resist). What a great time to insulate under the concrete slab AND strengthen it up FOREVER with re-bar.
For both hot and cold (or course). Need to service ANYTHING in this home... a full Mechanical Room makes it EASY!

It costs extra of course, but while you have the house taken apart this far... why not?
OF COURSE we insulated and vapor barrier the joist cavities. It's time-consuming, but NEEDED and so worth it in the short/long run.
It's a LOT of work but the finished product is so worth it.
Insulated bathrooms and...
Over 20 cans of spray foam...
We spray foam insulated the exterior corners of every room in the home (upstairs and down). These are OFTEN over-looked due to laziness and expense. NOW insulated, they're warm and you'll never find any condensation inside the home.
Insulated stairwell wall.
Rarely (nay... never) done by other Contractor's. Even the wood shown has closed-cell gaskets behind it thus creating a 'thermal-break' by not resting directly on the concrete. Now the Homeowner is NOT paying to heat the outside.

We have these custom steel latch plates made for our extensive home renovations. SECURITY is #1.
Of course! New gas line and power runs to the garage.
ALL the right wallboard ordered for use in the proper rooms. NOT all drywall is created equal. And if we told you how much square feet there is to re-do a home and garage, you may not believe it.

The previous entry into the home was recessed into the living room floor with a partition. It was a crowded entry inside the home and a waste of ceiling height in the basement. We, of course removed it.
NEW walkways and patio.
The old patio had sunk over 10" at the house. We removed it entirely and huge the new patio with re-bar from the home's foundation (drilled and epoxied in).
Concrete = expensive.
But so worth it (and worth even more when it's placed/installed correctly).

Attic spray foam.
To SEAL all the wall tops, etc. BEFORE we have the loose-fill attic insulation blown in. This is one WARM home.

And a properly sealed, insulated and vented super-quiet, high-volume bathroom fan duct shown.

New: furnace, windows (with translucent 'rain glass'), commercial 36" steel entry door, opener, and PLENTY of power with new sub-panel. What a great 2.5 wide car garage.
